Went back for the second time in a week. Had the Lomo Saltado and the Albodigas(latin meatballs) Both were great.2 small plates make a nice sized meal. My new favorite spot!21 Sep, 2013Beware!!! If you don’t love garlic, stay away! And who doesn’t love anyway? Ordered the ham and plantain bochon, tasted great but it was cold. They quickly took it away and brought a fresh order that was piping hot.That was the only misstep of the meal. the bartender came to the table to suggest wines ( very accurate) Mofongo was real crab soaked in butter and garlic stuffed in a plantain mash shell. Russian salad was different but tasty, a potato salad dyed pink by the beet juice. The trio of empanadas was too big for an appetizer, couldn’t put them all down before the Salmon on spinach arrived. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The garlic shrimp was among the best ever! Garlic to the third power!!!! Seriously, if you were to drown in this sauce you really wouldn’t mind dying. They have some nice specials on weeknights and great service. Not very expensive and food that will be remembered.
