Exceptional. Jukgagee has the BEST Thai food! Its authentic , flavorful, and completely addictive. We go at least twice a week.The staff are friendly and theres almost always parking right in front. Staff are always willing to make suggestions, adjust the spice levels to your preferences, and make sure you order something youll love. Its far better than ANY Thai food Ive ever had, and all my friends from NYC say its better than anything theyve had anywhere in the city! The prices are extremely reasonable, particularly given the quality of the food (ingredients are very high quality and well prepared). The atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely.There are a number of standout dishes on the menu: Thai beef salad, massaman curry, red curry, pad Thai, pad see ew, pad kee mow, and eggplant basil are all fantastic. But you really cant miss with whatever you order. Its all exceptional.
Excellent. Their food is delicious and the owners are great. It’s a little pricey for the college kids in the area who should be the main target. If they were a little further up closer to the Monclair area I’d say right on but for the people around them I can see why it’s empty so often. As for the food it’s great. You can customize your spice level and they are more than accommodating to any reasonable requests. I like the Waterfall Fried Rice (with over easy egg) and have fallen in love with Thai Iced Tea (very sweet and ultra rich). Atmosphere is great for a date night too.
