Awesome. We were on our way out of Cape May and took a walk by the little town there and it was so pretty…saw the restaurant and ran in to get something for the road wanted something fast,so I tried the veggie tostada and wow it was delicious next time i go to Cape may that will be the place to eat!!
Dry chicken. Had to be the driest chicken fajitas i’ve ever had. Chicken was over cooked and the veggies were under cooked.

Best Southwest!. Lunch at Gecko’s is a must whenever I get to Cape May. In fair weather, most of the diners are outside. The dining room is miniscule. The menu is not. We enjoyed pork posole and quinoa salad with roasted shrimp last time we were there. The posole has some heat, and the quinoa served on a bed of baby greens and lightly dressed was delish, a perfect intro to this grain if you’ve never tried it. Their daily soups are outstanding, from corn chowder to tomato, to creamy chicken. Soups change often and are worth a try even in the heat of summer. The Ute taco made with lamb is unique and flavorful. Where are you ever going to get lamb for lunch, let alone in a taco? I have yet to try their breakfast or dinner menu, maybe next trip!
