Best dining in Cape May… Bar none !
Very good food and friendly waitress. Beware it is a cash only business so come prepared!
We have been to George’s twice. First time was during the summer, and the other was yesterday (February). Both times there we had a great meal, and great service. Yes, the place is small, and yes, there is a wait, but to us it was worth it. I did not get any sense of arrogance from the owner and felt very welcome.
Went for breakfast. Hash browns tasteless! Did not have cash and there was no sign stating cash only!
A very fine dining place. We’ve eaten at georges place quite a few times in the past year and everything we have tried on the menu was excellant. some people complain about no kids at night and all i have to say is i’m happy to be able to sit down at night and have a quiet dinner without kids crying and unruly ones around you while you are trying to have a good dinner at a great restaurant. if you want to drag crying and screaming kids around at night try mcdonalds.
Food not worth the attitude. Hear the place was decent at best but when we went there the owner acted like a complete douchebag about his no kids under 6 after 6pm policy that isn’t posted anywhere and apparently also applies to 5:40pm as well so we left. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone that doesn’t want to be treated like crap.
Excellent food, agree with large portions. They are kid friendly and kind wait staff. Try the tiramisu waffle, that didn’t last long. Very fresh food.
