So I tried both the original buttermilk pancake and the oatmeal blueberry one. Although both were good, the oatmeal blueberry was awesome! If you like a thick, flavorful, and rich pancake with a hint of fruitiness, then this pancake will do it. Overall super yummy, a little overpriced, and the menu isn’t huge, but defiantly worth a try.

If this is Cape May’s Best Place for Breakfast? Then skip breakfast! No charm as we were seated on the porch. Coffee was absolutely horrendous who serves cold coffee? The Mad Batter that’s who along with ice cold home fries cold beef jerky like bacon, the French toast was more like Icelandic Toast… This place is horrible do not waste your time it is a has been of a place from a by gone era. There has got to be a better breakfast place in this town than this!

Best buttermilk pancakes ever! The coffee sucked though.

Discrimination. Humiliating experience to say the least…. Mad Batter refused to let us in with our six month old son due to their no stroller policy. No other option such as a height chair was offered, even if it was offered our son is unable to sit up on his own and too small for the standard height chair so the stroller was necessary. I believe they do not want children under the age of seven in their establishment. This is discrimination….period.

This is an excellent middle of the road breakfast. Kid friendly, kind staff. Food is fresh and the back terrace is by far the preferable location. Big servings, beware.

Had a decent breakfast here. The atmosphere is very nice, and the fact that they have a full bar is great if you want to get a mimosa with breakfast. Ingredients were solid and we had a very nice traditional breakfast.
