Worst ecperience ever. Had a dinner reservation for 7pm 6-22-12. Waited for 30 min and complained to maitre d’. Was still not seated after 45 min. Left in total disgust. Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had.
I miss the old steak 38. I miss the dimly lit bar and dining room. I miss Coach. Table side is great, never see this anywhere. Service is like old union banquet staff.
Good. Place looks like a dump on the outside because it is connected to two sleazy motels. Not much better looking inside. Food and service were great. A bit pricey but a very good meal. Nice wine list with reasonable prices. We will be back
THEY HAVE REOPENED. The restaurant is exactly the same inside as before closing but their appears to be different ownership. A couple of menu items refer to Barnecle Ben’s which is a nice seafood restaurant in Mt. Laurel. The waiter said Ben is one of the owners. We went with friends and we each ordered one of the several types of soups which were all good. We each ordered a filet. Mine was a little bit overdone but it was good. We finished with coffee and shared a bananas foster which was prepared table side.
Steak 38 Re-Opened in Cherry Hill. Just went to Grand Re-opening of Steak 38 at original Cherry Hill location. The Filet was fantastic! The table side Caesar Salad and Bananas Foster were heavenly. So glad this restaurant is back in business! Oldie but surely a goodie!
