Hidden Gem. We were mildly recommended by friends who live in one of the large adjoining apartment complexes and who are world traveled foodies, he of former Amex leadership in dining/travel. Our friends understated their find, maybe because it is not well attended, yet. Had it not been for a rare traffic jam on the nearby main street on our way to eat elsewhere, we would not have turned it this time and maybe ignored it forever. We dine out 100 times a year and have spent as much as $450 /2 for dinner in NYC, and were surprised -this is a hidden gem which should be caught before long since they are not into proper promotion in a dead end street, amateur website, but are into very good food with a talented chef who knows quality and presentation; they may not last long. Try the sweet potato gnocchi (and regular) half portion (or full) – never had such tender and tasty morsels. We had the Tilapia potato crusted and Salmon with ginger ,and both large beautifully presented portions we could not finish, with sides of delicious whipped potatoes and garnish. We will be coming back with friends very soon and will try the steak and deserts etc. Caring friendly staff.
