Wonderful!. We come to Pomodoro very often, from the time we first discovered it. We were amazed to find a truly wonderful Italian restaurant instead of just another pizza place. It is much-much better, let alone much more reasonable, than many other more pretentious and more expensive establishments. Always the freshest ingredients used to great results. There are always specials, home-made pastas and many interesting dishes on the menu. As to their pizza, we think we’ve never eaten pizza as great as this, and we’ve had quite an experience, including in Italy. It’s never burnt, and never-ever oily or soggy, but always crusty and made to perfection. Yes, thin-crust, and that’s what it’s supposed to be! Every time I take a mouth-watering bite, it seems to me I’m already in haven and partaking of ambrosia, and I’m not exaggerating. Our 6-year-old grand-daughter just loves it! As all little children, she is very conservative in her tastes, but once she tried their Ancona pizza (tender sweet Italian ricotta and spinach topping) she started asking for it every time. And they do bake their own crusty peasant bread. Frankly, I don’t know where the people that say they didn’t like the place found their food. I think they are either writing about a totally different place, or they visited the restaurant at the time they’d just opened and had not yet been truly organized, or maybe they are trying to save the competition?! I immediately thought about it after reading some negative reviews (thank god, they are very few), since first, the place is absolutely and undeniably very good and second, it is also new, so more established restaurants must be on the defensive. I spoke with some patrons during the summer, when the restaurant had tables outside and the whole cozy plaza reminded me of a small-town Italian plaza. They, like us, just loved the place. One older person, a local resident, started a conversation just to tell us how often he visited the restaurant and how much he enjoyed it every time. He said he often brought his children and grand-children. Like him, we also felt that, in the balmy summer weather, the quiet plaza and the wonderful food was one of life’s undeniable pleasures. Well, I think all you need is just go and try for yourself-I’m sure you will not be disappointed! Isabella

Horrible pizza and delivery. Fort the first time i ordered from this place depending on the reviews, I think most reviews come from themselves.I stopped by and ordered, while waiting for it, decided to turn that to delivery, and went home (6 blocks from the store). After waiting for little under an hour, this saggy thing came with oil floating on top from the cheese, it was the most disgusting pizza ever, even the frozen pizzas from supermarkets are superior to this, KINGS pizza in the same area has bad pizza but I’ll take it over this anyday.Sorry, many wrong reviews or scammed reviews raving about this place.

So good…really…. I moved from LA 4 years ago and Pomodoro was right down the street and I went there all the time. I know I might sound like I work there…but I dont – lol Im just a very very happy patronTheir food is hands down – delicious – im not kidding. It may look like a Pizza joint, small cozy, but their food is enormous and drool worthy . You have to try their pastas and sandwiches so good. The quality is up to par with a real full size restaurant. – never been disappointed. Wish you guys the best of luck

GREAT PASTA. They have great pizza, not so much on the regular pies (they make those TOO THIN), but the Sicilian Pizza is great and they have the BEST VODKA Sauce around the BEST!!!! We get it all the time. If only they COULD make the PIZZA thicker… they would be a true 5 STAR PLACE.:)

By far THE BEST Pizzeria in Northern New Jersey. I am not one to normally write reviews although I quite often read them. However, in this case, I felt it necessary. I have dined at Pomodoro on many, many occasions and have also recommended them to friends of the area. I have had nothing but fantastic experiences and have got nothing but many thanks and praise from friends. I think there are some people that have written reviews that sound like they are never happy. To them I say – if you have nothing nice to say, zip it! I am a big fan of brick oven pizza and Pomodoro makes INCREDIBLE pizza and also some unique types of pizza. Their chicken francaise pizza is delectable. I would recommend Pomodoro to anyone and everyone. I say, RUN, don’t walk to Pomodoro and I promise you that you will not be disappointed! And for those that think I may be a friend or relative, I am not! I am just an extremely happy Pomodoro customer!
