Here We go again on another blind choice for dinner. I was satisfied for what Anthony’s had to offer. There unique pizzas where cooked in a coal oven ran around 800 degrees hence the name Anthony’s coal fired pizza , which created a crispy black crust. I wasn’t hungry so the small aka large pizza was filling enough. The pizza served its purpose , the waitresses where beautiful and our orders where thorough. Simply put if you don’t go for the experience of coal cooked pizzas , drive about 20 more minutes to New York and get yourself a 99 cent pizza slice from a vendor.
Coal Oven Roasted Chicken Wings. The wings are delish they are baked not fried with lots of carmelized onions. Perfect if u dont want so many calories definetly not spicy and sloppy. They are not like buffalo wings, but worth tasting. We order these take out with a small pie.. one order is good for two.
A new favorite spot! Everything I’ve tried here has been off the chain! The meatball on Foccaccia with long hot peppers is a perfect creation. The pizza is among the best ever, thin and oven fired to crispy perfection. Today’s discovery was the ribs from the Italian Soul Food section of the menu. Spot on! Nicely charred yet tender to the point of practically falling off the bone. Seasoned with rosemary, hot peppers and vinegar. Plenty of beers on tap that hold up to the bold flavors that the kitchen is cranking out.
