IndeBlue’s dishes are friggin delicious. I had the vegetable samosas, chilled dahi avocado chaat, their fish of the day served in masala sauce, lamb rogan josh, bread basket (combo of naan / lasooni / provencal / garhwali), and gulab jamun. Just a side note from my pics, they serve two samosas to an order on top of chickpeas, not the one I have on my plate. There is absolutely nothing I can complain about, except for the Dahi Avocado Chaat. It was my first time eating an chilled dahi avocado chaat so I’m not sure if I dislike the taste itself or what, but it was too sour for me.OTHER THAN THAT, everything is straight up delicious. The thing with Indian food is the variety of texture in dishes and the combination of sweet, savory, spicy, and sour taste they magically incorporate together somehow. The naan is perfectly soft and crisp at the edges. I can just eat the gharwali (the subtly cheesy naan) straight up without any sauce because of how good it is. Lemme preface this by saying I never eat dessert at a restaurant because I’m not a sugary-type person, but please for the love of God eat a dessert here. I had the gulab jamon, which is like three soft milky balls served with a side of cinnamon ice cream. You have to eat the balls with the ice cream together. It’s the perfect amount of sweet that won’t make you feel like you’ll keel over from diabeetus. Also, they do ask if you want your food to be served in a varied degree of spiciness of your choosing. I will say, even mild seemed to be too spicy for some of the people I’ve went with. The spice is no joke! Drink some mango lassi or milk to cool-down your mouth/stomach!The service is great. All of the servers were very accommodating and attentive to things we didn’t even notice or care about. They even gave us a few corks for some wine and mead bottles we had. Oh yeah, and this place is BYOB. Just an FYI, if you’re splitting the bill with a large group, keep in mind that they only accept two credit cards at a time.
Indieblue is the best indian restaurant in the area hands down. They relate to the avarage diner with mostly non traditional extremely creative dishes that explode with flavor upon landing in your mouth wow. Yes there are traditional dishes here too but indie puts there own creative spin on them and they always come up a winner.Very nice decor and comfy seating .Dont be surprised to see a professional musician playing some soft music. Its quite common and adds to the nice atmosphere. Heres a little secret if you are watching the eagles game and in the mood for wings get take out at indie and order the wings from heaven. Next to jug handle inn wings these are excellent. Of course its much nicer to dine in for dinner but i thought id throw that side note secret in there.just dont order too many save some for me and the boys on Sundays. The service is average and fluxuates but there is something mystical about indie and the food.Overall a hands down winner.
