VERY POPULAR BUT I THINK OVER RATEDWe have been here twice before. On those occasions, a reservation proved to be an opportunity to get in line but my recollection was that the food was very good. This visit was the complete opposite. We arrived a little early for our 8 o’clock reservations and were promptly seated. Our table was on the other side of the opaque glass partition separating the waiting area from a part of the dining room. Within minutes the waiting area filled, backed up onto the sidewalk and stayed that way the entire time we were there. So much for honoring reservations, I guess. My wife and I started by sharing an entree size order of the gnocchi’s. They had the consistency and flavor that you might expect if they came out of a box. Maybe they did. They were also luke warm. My wife had the chicken with shrimp, asparagus and capers in lemon white wine sauce and I had the chicken with shrimp, scallops and tomato in the same white wine sauce. Both entrees came with sides of pasta. Once again, both of our chicken filets were luke warm but the pasta was hot. Bad meal assembly. The portions were small. My wife always brings half of her entree home with her but not tonight. Service was too fast. We were in and out in about 55 minutes. The decor is like something you would see at the Venetian in Las Vegas or Italy in Epcot but the restaurant has been here a very long time. Based upon the prices on the menu, I think it is time to put better value into the food and devalue the decor which must be written off by now.

Great Food and we Loved the Service! My husband and I enjoyed such a perfect meal there. I had Schiacciata di Pollo and my husband had Vitello Melanzane. One of the best Collingswood restaurants I have dined at. As a bonus on their website, http://www.nunzios.net Nunzio has some yummy recipes if you feel like staying at home and having a cozy meal. I made the Marinated Tuna with Arugula and Cherry Tomatoes. So Good! If you are ever in Collingswood and love Italian Fine Dining in South Jersey go to Nunzio’s or Check there site for some great dinner ideas
