The absolute best italian restaurant in collingswood. I frequent Sapori often and each time is just as amazing as the last! I lived in Italy and since my return Sapori is the only place I will eat Italian food in the area. The food is absolutely delicious favorites being the whole fish baked in sea salt, antipasto, fig and pear salad, lobster fetticini, and they always have a great selection of daily specials. The owner and wait staff do amazing job to make sure your dinner is enjoyable. Not once have we ever felt ignored or rushed. People who do not enjoy this place obviously do not know real italian food!

This past review from Suzanne seems a little fishy. It sounds like it was written by someone who is pretending to be someone else. If indeed it is true, couple of things don’t add up. First of all if it is true that those guests were Italians they would have not complained about portions being so small that they couldn’t take any remains at home: Italians don’t do that, they don’t take left overs home. I am not sure if this Suzanne really came for dinner but if you did I invite you to contact Sapori as soon as you read this. We would like you to come over for dinner, at no cost to you, and see if we can make your dinner experience better. By the way, when were you here?

Fantastic & autentico. This has been my restaurant of choice in Collingswood since it opened. Why? Fantastic food prepared with intelligence, care & more than a little flair, superior service & an ambience that focuses on the table. The food is excellent, service attentive but not intrusive &, a rarity in town, you can always have a conversation at Sapori – whether dining as a couple or a party of ten. Your dining experience is at the heart of the entire enerprise & Sapori does not disappoint. Chef-owner Franco Lombardo has created a highly polished gem here in Collingswood. This is as authentic and italian eperience as you will find on this side of the Atlantic. Divertiti!

Excellent!. The food here is delicious and inventive. The decor is old world and warm. The prices are a bit high but they do have a sampler menu where you can try several courses for $40. I enjoyed this and it was well worth the money.

Is this really Jersey?. Ventured out of the city Sunday night to go visit Franco Lombardo at his ‘second home’, and ended up travelling back to Italy. Though we chose the four course meal, we loved right from the start that he offers to choose the courses for us. What a treat when so many menu choices appeal! The antipasti misti plate contained about ten spoonfuls of perfection, leaving us wanting more. Much more. We got it. We ate grilled calamari salad, a seafood risotto, a stinco di vitello (veal shank), tiramisu and a cannolo: all true to the trattoria experience, and all delicious. With a friendly waitstaff and a conversation with Franco himself, we felt like we were back ‘home’ in Italy. He’s done a fabulous job of capturing the trattoria feel, both in the quality of food & service as well as the inviting atmosphere. I really wish we had Sapori Due in Philadelphia’s University City. Would love to be able to waltz in after a long workday. For now, I highly recommend a trip over the bridge. Bravissimi!

A Pleasant Evening. Enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious veal dish. The interior looks just as the photo appears. A treat to be sure. I recommend Sapori. The chef personally delivered our meals.
