I come here all the time. It’s still my all time favorite hang out spot. I usually get the california burger or chilli dog but their grilled chicken salads are really good too. They’re super packed on the weekends but I take my food to go.
Definitely my favorite hang out spot. Love the chilli dogs &the grilled chicken sandwiches. Been going there since I was little. Getting hungry just thinking about it. You know they must be good when there’s a crowd waiting to get inside.
A favorite amongst locals, it’s probably the best hot dog place you never heard of. Their Texas Weiners are more than enough to put this place on any hot dog fanatics to-do list, but the rest of the menu offers something for everybody. From omelets to salads, everything is made fast and tasty. And whether you want bacon and french fries on your grilled chicken sandwich or pork roll and egg on your cheeseburger, special orders are no problem. By the size of the crowds, I think the secret is coming out. J&G Texas Weiners is one of NJ’s top hot dog spots and much much more.
Hidden jem. I’m glad I stopped in. The food is priced very reasonably, and is very tasty. I had a dog with everything and fries which were very good. My brother had the Tuna sandwich which was overflowing. The only thing I would recommend is that you ask for the tuna on their hamburger bun instead of bread, which they have no problem doing for any sandwich.Other than that, the staff is very friendly and the food comes out fast. The decor is modest, but the place is clean for being an older building.I had the cheese steak sandwich the other day and it was awesome. Just like Mom used to make with Steak Umms, and delicious onions and peppers.I will definitely come back for more.
Best hot dogs in New Jersey!. I’ve been a customer for many years because this place is the best! Best hot dogs, fries, burgers and chicken sandwiches. Service is with a smile. You can sit back and quietly enjoy your meal or have a chat with the other customers or employees. Either way, it’s always a good time and a good meal. I never realized they also had great breakfast – now I can’t even drive by in the morning without stopping for a pork roll, egg and cheese sandwich – my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Go to J&G Texas Weiners – you’ll be happy you did.
