I love going to eat there, but I love the refried beans but they give very little of them and rice. The price are not that cheap for the food that you get. Love the chips and the salsa they thinned it out, it was much thicker before. For the price I would rather have more food. More refried beans please.
Don Jose. Many positives, but many negatives, too. Probably the best Mexican sit-down restaurant in the Morris County area. Food is delicious, and I recommend this restaurant ONLY to people who have patience. No reservations are taken, so the line is ALWAYS out the door. Also, a mariachi band comes around and sings to you, regardless if you want them too or not. Overall, I would wait the hour(s) long wait because of the atmosphere and food.

I’ve never had flavorless Mexican fare until this visit. I was certain that for a Mexican restaurant to survive literally surrounded by Asian cuisine restaurants it’s food HAD to be exceptional. How wrong I was. I ordered the chimichangas and was excited when it arrived because the presentation was nice. Just before it arrived we received a sizzling plate of melted cheese and was told that was their version of queso sauce without the meat. Perhaps I’m spoiled, but usually the sauce isn’t oily and seperates as it sits on the hot plate like this serving did. Sadly the quality went downhill from there as the refried beans and arroz fritos were devoid of flavor. The chimichangas was mostly dough and lacking on fillings. Even if I lived in East Hanover I’d never come back because the place was overfilled with people when we were there. I know building code maxes out occupancy at 50 people when there’s only one identified exit door. This place had 77+ people crammed in there and the exit sign wasn’t working right. Yikes!!
