The Godfather of East Hanover is hands down my favorite pizzeria and restaurant in the state or even the country and I mean that! The quality of their food, produce, atmosphere is exceptional. The customer service is top notch and always treats me with the upmost respect. The food is to die for, my favorite are any of the pizzas or chicken dishes and one thing that I like is that if you want something changed or cooked longer or less they will always accommodate you! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants great Italian food, service, and modern high class atmosphere!Jake Mizer
Disappointed!. Ate at Godfathers recently with a large group of friends. Seated at 5:45 PM and orders were taken at 6:00.. After 1/2 hr and several inquiries, the waitress seemed annoyed. Our food did not arrive until 7:15! During our wait other tables were filled, received their appetizers & entrees before we were served any food. When the food finally arrived it sat on the tray while the servers tried to figure who ordered what. Grated cheese was offered 10 minutes later, a side of whole wheat pasta at $1.00 surcharge tasted previously cooked & re-heated in the microwave. Someone in our party had a coupon with no stipulations & were promptly told it could not be accepted. This restaurant charges high prices for average food & poor service.
Pizza & Restaurant. Great place to go for a slice. They have so many varieties and they give you a large slice. The food and salads are very good too. If you are looking for higher end, eat in the restaurant bar next to the pizzeria.
I love the Godfather!!! It’s THE BEST Italian restaurant around! We know everyone that works there and they are all great people. If you can’t decide between what to have, come here! You won’t regret it!
This place has great Italian, pizza, and seafood…nice atmosphere and bar area…good take out and delivery…
Not just a Pizzeria. I have visited the Godfather on numberious occaisions and found it quite by accident. Don’t be fooled into thinking it another Mall restraunt as I did while visiting the nearby Home Depot. This restraunt is anything but. From the quick and friendly service to the impeccible food presentations this place can compete with any fine restraunt. Be sure to try the fresh clams and oysters shucked right in front of you by the most professional food server I’ve ever observed. I have yet to find a meal or presentation served there that is anything but excellent and I’ve sampled many. But don’t take my word for it, visit them yourself. I guarentee you will fall in love with the atmosphere, food quality and service as I have and will be returning often with your friends.
