Such a disappointment!!!!!!I ate whole my life mediterranean food..this restaurant it’s not even close to the italian one…not even ‘a touch’ of italian way of preparing food!!!!Service is no comment :((Food is not fresh, seasoned .. taste and flavor is more close to any chain restaurants than fine dinning!!…too many lacks I don’t wanna waste my time for words, for sure I will never come back and recommend this’ italian restaurant’ to anybody!!!If I can put zero for rating…ccccc
Wonderful. Always a great meal and you always feel special from the moment you walk in the door. Although we never have to wait, i would wait to get in here-the food is so good. Fresh wild fish, cooked to order pasta, homemade sauce and soups. Something for everyone Recommends : Yes Categories : Good for Groups, Late-Night Find, Notable Wine List, Romantic, Special Occasion
Hated it!. We went there for VALENTINES DAY! It’s suppose to be romantic ..right? NOT AT ALL! No white table cloth, no pretty red flowers.. NOT EVEN A CANDLE on the table!! OK.. maybe the food will be good…ala vodka is NOT RED its PINK & JUMBO SHRIMP is NOT the size of a quarter!! OK MAYBE the service will be good…nope! RUDE waitress that hides in the back through most iof the meal and rolls her eyes if you ask for something..ok MAYBE the price will be reasaonable!! NOPE! The absolute most expensive meal I have had ALL year & the most miserable time! Who do they think they are treating thier patrons with such disrespect? I will NEVER go there again!!!… & I warn you not to go either!
Good Food, Unlucky Experience. The food was prepared well and to our liking. Unfortunately, my girlfriend and I happened to get the worst waitress available. We were promptly seated, and although it took a while to get service initially, we did not mind. A waitress in her early twenties with dark hair came up to us awkwardly and stared. She just stared at us with a creepy smile on her face. We noticed how her tie was so badly tied and uncanny she looked compared to the rest of the staff. Anyway, she finally asked us what we wanted to drink and eat. She brought out our salads and just stood there for about 2 minutes just staring. We felt very awkward with her there just watching and remaining silent. The salad was okay, nothing too great but better than nothing. Later on, she, with the help of other waitstaff delivered our entrees. Yet again, the staring contest between my chicken parmigiana and the creepy waitress began! After a few minutes we tried to shoo her away which eventually worked. After we ate our entire meal, which was very nice, she came up and just smiled and waited a full minute to say something. She then proceeded with an awkward joke about boxing up the plates which were empty. She would be the only one to laugh. She then took off and surprisingly did not show up for a while after, which was the only time we wanted her to come back to the table for our check. I’m sure that if we’d have gotten another waitstaff member it would have been a much nicer experience. I’d recommend it, as long as you do not happen to encounter the creepy dark hair waitress who tends to stare awkwardly!
Awful…. I have to say, I review restaurants for a living and I went in here recently based off of some reviews from the internet and I am beyond dissappointed. The service at the front door is the only thing I can actually say was pleasant during my dining experience. My guest and I walked in and were looked at like aliens by both customers and staff members, and as we took our seats the gentleman who came to fill our glasses of water had nothing but the most miserable frown on his face. No one that works here wants to be there at all, the bus boy filling the glasses did not say a word even when we thanked him just walked away with a frown. Then the waiter comes to the table and unwillingly offers up the specials for the night to us, so I decide to stay instead of walk out before judgement (huge mistake). We get the appetizer which came out on time but the gentleman who decided to bring it out to us just literally tossed it onto the table as his conversation wtih the bus boy was ten times more important and then as he throws it on the table it almost falls over and he just walks away with no care in the world. So as my meal comes out i order the chicken dish which is literally just a piece of butterflied chicken on a plate by itself and the side of pasta that comes with the dish is minuscule and the ITALIAN SAUCE that goes with my pasta is THE WORST SAUCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT AN ITALIAN ESTABLISHMENT. I have been reviewing restaurants for quite sometime and really have not had such a passion for hatred and dissappointment from one place. So after the miserable waitstaff, and food runners are done and we pack up we come to find out that the waiter has charged us for the one refill that he offered up to us. Now this is not as frustrating as the service but it was more of an icing on the cake. And for the cherry on top ….this is one of the 1% of companies who if you use your visa card charges the 20% gratuity on your card without telling you, when all the have to do is tell the credit card companies to not hold the money. This is a joke of an establishment and I will make sure that everytime I get an opportunity in the magazines and blogs that I write for I make sure to make an even worse review than this one because it was an awful experience and the owners should be ashamed to have such a horrible staff. How can you have such an awful red sauce for pasta, I mean you would expect such a generic sauce from olive garden but this made olive garden look like one of the top italian restaurants in the South Jersey region. DO NOT DINE HERE IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A NICE NIGHT OUT BECAUSE IT WILL SERIOUSLY RUIN YOUR NIGHT AND YOUR OVERALL THOUGHT AND IMPRESSION OF ITALIAN FOOD!!!
