Food is typical diner food, not bad. I’ve been here quite a few times. It’s a little over priced but clean and tidy. My last experience with the waitress was terrible. My husband can’t eat dairy and wasn’t sure if the sauce used for eggs Benedict had dairy in it, so we asked our waitress. She said she didn’t know and seemed annoyed that we asked her to go check with the kitchen. Then she literally walked to the soda machine and back and told us no one knew. How can a restaurant not know what they cook with? Isn’t that necessary for food allergies etc.? We ordered and he settled on something he knew was safe and my breakfast came out wrong. We told her the potatoes were under cooked and she just stared at us. It was not a pleasant experience.

Poor Service. For a diner, the food is decent. I have been there several times and the service is always very slow. Usually Diners focus on speedy and friendly service, but they are lacking.
Amazing Bakery. Their desserts are amazing! We ordered a cake for my mother’s birthday. It looked beautiful and was so insanely delicious. A big hit. Btw… My favorite is the banana cream pie.
Best beer bar and steak from Hamilton to AC. Over 100 beers on menu, not including wines….at a local diner with great food, staff, and friendly atmosphere…who would guess. Local GEM, five star, and will certainly return.
Really GOOD Diner. The Shore diner and excellent diner. I was really surprised about the service. The managers would walk around and check up on the tables. The chef came out and talked to a few customers, asking how everything was.It is really a nice, calm atmosphere. I went in August. It was really busy. The hosts were constantly walking around with water, setting tables and truly making sure the customers were treated right. The people at this place really know how to work and really treat the customers right.They really put customers first and know how to run a good operation. Most importantly, all the employees seem very happy and it really makes a good impression for people like me.
