I think the food here is decent. Service has been pretty good the last three times I have been here.
It was a terrible experience. My waited was rude, never asked how our meal went. The service took forever and by forever in mean 30 minutes to serve me over salted calamari. I had the displeasure of also having the bland sweet potato fries that were served with ketchup and possessed no seasoning whatsoever. My lunch companion ordered the roasted turkey club and the turkey happened to be the warmest thing in the sandwich, the bacon and the bread which looked to be roasted at some point was not only the terrible temperature of an ice cicle and hard as a rock. And to top the experience off I had to ask for silverware only to wait 10 minutes to get silverware.
Actually, this restaurant isn’t Liberty Grille; it’s Ironbound Grille. During our hotel stay, we ate dinner here and then breakfast and loved the food and service both times. The star of our food show was the Fire-roasted Tomato Soup. It was absolutely delicious, addictively so! I had the Mediterrean Chicken entree, and my hubby had the seared scallops. Both entrees were excellent.
