Food is Good, but Service is Slow. This is for the restaurant in Union. My experience here was the same as most of the other reviewers. The bar gets most of the attention. They seated us in the restaurant area, and there was one server for 20 tables. There was no way he could keep up. They seated us in the back, which was worse, because he rarely came that far from the front of the restaurant. Most of the time, I had to stand up, and wave my hands over my head back and forth until he saw me. The owner came out and apologized, and left a bottle of something-grappa, or something like it, for us to drink while they caught up. The drink was like paint thinner, and not too drinkable.As far as the food, the chorizo is a nice presentation, which they light on fire at the table. The calamari is some of the best I have had in years-rings only, lightly breaded, and very tender. You couldn’t make it better. The prices are extremely good. I think there were only one or two dishes over $ 19.For the meals, the paella was separated into the rice in one dish, and the seafood in another. Not great. The shrimp stuffed with crabmeat was excellent! The T-bone was good, but instead of coming out medium rare, it was closer to raw, but edible.For desserts, only a few were made on premises. The carrot cake, though not made on site, was excellent. The coconut sorbet was OK to good. But, the chocolate concoction that was a specialty was awful. We wanted to try something different, and it certainly was. It had that dark burnt chocolate taste, which none of us cared for. All in all, a C+ to a B-.Hints to my followers:Sit up front, or you will never get service.The drinks are poured strong, so be aware.I think the fish is their specialty, from whole fish, to fillets
