I got to try this at their festival street stall. The smell coming off their skewers and swinging cage suspended over fire was intoxicating! They were very nice and giving out chunks of beef and I was hooked, it was so juicy, smoky and cooked medium rare!I got a box of pork belly and an arepa de to take back to my place to eat.Far out these were so tasty!! Those Colombians sure know how to make a mean roast pork belly! Tender meat, mostly fatty fat fat parts and some crispy some chewy skin, lots of seasoning – so good! My first time trying an arepa de/corn pie.It was quite heavy, had a crispy shell and was filled with stretchy cheese. It was also quite sweet!!! Like a sweet and savoury item, the more you ate, the more it seemed to lean towards the sweet side. Really fun and yum!
