Great tasting food love the sauce, sausage and meatballs – garlic salad awesome too! I spilled some sauce on my white shirt and the waitress cleaned it with club soda and soap – very cool!
Old School Italian right down to the prices. An antipasto piled high with roasted red peppers, slabs of mozzarella and salami, pepperoncini, green and black olives, hard boiled eggs, all over hunks of iceberg lettuce. Enough to feed 4. Pizza heavy with cheese and sauce over a blistered thin crust, was sublime. Ravioli, were gossamer thing and creamy with whipped ricotta, Even spaghetti and meatballs were way above the norm. I love old school places like this. What a gem!

Spirto’s has been a staples of Elizabeth for more years than i have lived..i’ve been a customer since i was 10..the charm…it hasn’t changed its decore…its food…or the amazing waitresses. If your looking for a neighborhood place to be where eveyrone knows your name…..Come here once a week for a chicken parm dinner or a pie and a few drinks…you can’t beat it!!
