Great Place. First time for me in Elizabeth. I enjoyed the meal; very European. I had the steak on a stone. Fantastic way to serve a tender steak.
Great place to get take out food not so good to dine in. I went with a large party and it took 2 hours for our food to come. Waiter was not attentive and need to called over several times for refills. I won’t be going back to dine in, but to eat at when I’m to lazy to cook a definite.
Steak on the stone!!!. Steak on the stone is amazing!!!!!!! very good and the butter that comes with it!!! OMG it melts in your mouth. It is expencive so my family saves it for special occations. if going on a weekend i highly recommend a reservation!
THE BEST PORTUGUESE RESTAURANT IN ELIZABETH. The shrimp in garlic sauce is the best ever… the food there is delicious, and the staff is very welcoming!!!!! to the person that wrote u smell greasy after leaving the restaurant.. then take a shower ..it doesn’t even matter as long as the food is great! and that it definitely is !!!!!!I’ve recommended this place to a lot of people including my boss and co-workers and each and every one of them have absolutely loved the food there!!!!!! they go back often!!!!!VALENCA is just simply the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s a restaurant that is expanding and the food and svc is really good!
Overpriced and Stale. The food is not what it used to be and the staff is not very welcoming. The place has lost it’s touch. Not to mention, you smell greasy after walking out of there.
