Overpriced, Inattentive, and Slow. Living in Ewing, I wanted to like East Sushi – I like to support local business. But there are too many things wrong with this place. I have tried it several times for dinner, lunch and take out, before I gave up on it. First, it is too pricey for the area – it is not in step with other eateries without making up for that with a difference in quality or quantity. Second, you know the old cliche about how asian places always mess up your order, esp. for takeout? It is true here. I am not kidding – every single time I have ordered here they have gotten somethng wrong. Third, they are deadly slow!!!!To be fair, they do a couple of things right: the Bento Boxes are a pretty good value for lunch, and their Pork on Fire entree is fantastic. Overall, however, the good things don’t make up for the deficiencies.
