Surprisingly Delicous!. Surprisingly Delicious!We had been on Paulie’s mailing list and we thought about going there many times but just didn’t since the restaurant always had so many coupons. My husband and I finally visited this restaurant with my 2 college age daughters on Friday night. We were pleasantly surprised. We were seated in the dining area just past the bar. While we perused the menu complimentary caponata was served with crostini and delicious bread. We shared two appetizers…the fried ravioli served on a bed of spinach and shrimp with delicious marinara sauce….and the heart smart salad. Both were huge and delicious! All 4 of us could have shared one appetizer. For main courses, I got the crab cakes special….superb…my husband grilled chilean sea bass special…perfectly cooked and again a huge portion even for the pricey $32…my daughters had the BEST penne ala vodka she has ever eaten and delicious chicken franchaise. Both of them had dinner to bring back to college for the next night! We did save room for dessert…a wonderful tartufo and apple cobblers were shared!!! We loved our dinner at Paulie’s Anna Rose and we are looking forward to our next visit!!!!!
