I think bedbugs hitched a ride on us on us before we left cause our place was crawling with them. Thank god we found a good exterminator.
Top notch.. Excellent atmosphere and food quality.Great experience, not cheap though – we spent 180$ with my wife for a moderate dinner. Will come back.
Worth all my pennies. The food here is great! it’s mediteranean and while it’s very pricey, you can’t get this stuff elsewhere which is why I’m saving up to come here again! the stuffed shrimps are like little mermaid heaven! my nonna got the lamb which she said was incredible – i wouldn’t know because sheep are too cute 🙂
Don’t leave anything in your car!. Food and service were both great. Too bad the valet stole all of our quarters. We’ll be back – probably on a weekday when there isn’t valet parking.
Oceanos. Very good. Knowledgeable wait staff. Consistently good. Not so with the other Taverna they opened in Elmwood Park on Broadway. Not traditional Greek taverna food and not that fresh in the few experiences I had. The desserts were terrible at the Taverna!
Outstanding restaurant!!. My children took me here for my birthday and it was a real treat. The best service I’ve had in years followed by outstanding food dishes. (and I tasted everyone’s 🙂 The scallops preparation was to die for.. WONDERFUL. I had the roasted beets appetizer w/almond garlic apread.. (wonderful) and the grilled lobster.. (excellent).. We had a Greek custard dessert (Ekmek) Shredded filo dough with a light custard filling. and it was.. outstanding. Being retired, I eat out at least 2-3 times a week and this, was the best!!! But, be prepared to bring a heavy wallet. (for instance, Appetizer, crabmeat cocktail $19)
Not worth the price. Highly overpriced seafood. Dayboat scallops were nothing more than medium scallops $25 for five of them. Oyster specail $13.00 for 4 samples. Wait staff was clingy and bus staff was rude. You would do better at one of the chain restaurants such as Legal Seafood or McCormick and Schmick
