I visited last night for the first time. I went there with friends because of the extensive gluten free menu it has. For someone who needs a variety of choices of gluten free food, this is an excellent place. We shared nachos which were good and my friends ordered pizzas. The pizzas looked good. I ordered a shrimp Caesar wrap with fries. While it took forever because my waiter got my order wrong twice, my friends devoured their pizzas. My wrap finally came and was okay but the fries were nice and crispy. I’d try this place again as the owner was welcoming and the pizzas looked good.
Great service and atmosphere… And big surprise! A gluten free menus!. This place has a great gluten-free menu with a sizable collection of items… Gluten free personal pizzas are wonderful. The crust was crispy and tasted so good it was hard to believe it was gluten free. I also sampled a gluten free quesadilla stuffed with cheese and veggies. Excellent . Atmosphere and service are excellent. They also serve gluten free pastas. I tried the gluten free penne with vodka sauce… One of the best vodka sauces i have ever had. The hospitable owner told me they use Barilla gluten free pasta. We even tried a GF. Nutella pizza for dessert… And allthe regular food got rave reviews too.my friends loved the open faced steak sandwich.
Review for Rail Yard Tavern. It was my second visit to the Railyard Tavern I was not impressed. On my first visit a couple of weeks ago i was with a group of friends the service was slow we did not get served together due to a mistake with the order. The waitress was quick to offer us a drink on the house to make up for the mishap. The second time around last night I ordered a med rare burger and got a well done burger. The mgr came by and checked and I told him I do not send food back. If they cannot get a simple burger cooked right I will not recommend going there to my friends.
Bright and New, Opens 1/15/2014. This is a great spot for Fair Lawn. Everything is brand new and very clean. Beers are cold, and their pizza is awesome. They are having their Grand Opening 1/15/2014. During their soft opening period, there have been some hiccups, but nothing you wouldn’t expect from a brand new restaurant testing out the kinks.Three sections make it a perfect spot for everyone:1) Bar and Lounge with plenty of TVs and a smartphone jukebox2) Separate area great for parties, families and pizza.3) Restaurant area with no TVs perfect for good sit down dinner
Two strikes they’re out! Service is poor, management ineffective, and food mediocre at best. First dining room experience resulted in order mishap with only one other couple in restaurant. Management did not rectify snafu, but did apologize. Not a great initial impression. Second experience was take-out. Another order mess-up resulting in my husband waiting 40 additional minutes…food was cool and soggy by the time it arrived home. Waste of time and hard-earned money. Take your dollars elsewhere!
