Nice spot.. I was in Fairfield, NJ to attend training this week. On Thursday night, I was hungry and didn’t feel like paying the high prices of the hotel’s restaurant, even though I was on an expense account. So, around 9:30, I walked into this place. I was dying for a steak and saw they offered them on the menu. In honesty, I’m from Philadelphia and have never been a big fan of the State of New Jersey. North Jersey is like a foreign country from what I am used to. The place was empty and was scheduled to close at 10 PM. I asked the cute young waitress if I could get some food. She asked what I wanted and I said a steak. Only a guy from Philly could walk into an Italian restaurant and ask for a steak. The steak was cooked perfectly rare, the way I like it. The owner/chef asked if I wanted salad, which the waitress promptly delivered. Then he brought out some great Italian bread and offered some wine, which I gladly accepted. He was a very nice man and we talked for a while. Plus, the total bill was pretty cheap. It was the best meal I had the whole week. I doubt that I will find myself in Fairfield, NJ anytime soon, unless they send me for training in the area again. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Philly and a long, monotonous one. However, if I am, the first stop I will make is to this little hidden gem. Keep up the good work. Ciao.

It’s been our family meeting place for years. Never been disappointed. Seafood is always fresh and traditionally prepared. Pasta cooked to perfection.Prices are reasonable. BYOB.We are treated like family.A plus is that they are located next to Calamdras Bakery.

It will be your new favorite!. My family found this little gem of a restaurant 2 years ago. We’ve dined there so many times and have always enjoyed the food. The sea bass, chicken balsamico, and gnocchi are among our favorite dishes. It’s such a pleasant, family owned and run BYO that it will surely become your new favorite place to dine.

Good Food….. One of our favorite restaurants to go to. We are always happy with the meal no matter what we choose. Consistently good. Great byo restaurant and price is moderate.

Poor food. The pasta was under cooked and the peas were dried and not fresh. Glad only paid half price but not worth that
