  i went for dinner with my family we all ordered souvlaki plates well done 1 pork 2 chicken and 1 lamb the service people where great and help full our food arrived and none of them where well done and the pork was raw my daughter had the first piece and let the rest she ate only the potatoes when i asked why she said it didn’t taste okay so i checked it when i cut into the meat it was all red inside and bloody so we sent it back we all stopped eating because we where concerned with the rest of the meals we asked for the bill to pay and waited the waitress took the plate with the raw meat and showed it to the owner and 5 minutes later the waitress returned with the bill for all 4 meals including the one for the raw one the owner did not even come over to apologise he just looked at us and went back in the kitchen we payed for everything and even tipped the waitress but how low and the the be to charge us for raw meat that we returned

  My husband and I love santorini taverna, from the exquisite cuisine to the warm and accomodating staff. Bringing our friends to this restaurant is like bringing them to our house. The waiters have always been attentive and the owner makes time to make sure we are happy with the service… Needless to say, we always are. It is officially our neighborhood restaurant.

  A hidden gem!!!. Wow! This restaurant serves the best Greek food I’ve had on the East Coast. Their food is very clearly prepared with TLC: everything I’ve ordered has exceeded my expectations. Their roasted potatoes and chicken souvlaki are excellent!!! Little extras such as bruschetta with tomato and garlic and kalamata olives and olive oil brushed bread with oregano appear as if magic. In addition, the decor is beautiful and cozy. In the warmer months, they have patio seating as well. The staff are friendly and attentive (a rarity in Fort Lee!). If you visit this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

  What a place!. Santorini Taverna.. what a beautiful place! I fell in love with it when I first walked in. On the left there is a full bar replica that of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in NYC. The dining room is very unique with its ceiling mural of the Greek gods and on the walls there are scenes of Santorini. The deck is also unique with its tiki umbrellas and tiki torches all around. When they are lit at night, it creates a very romantic and relaxing atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside and enjoy the most delicious Greek food and desserts ever! (grilled calamari, octopus, dips, gyro, fresh fish, souvlaki, mousaka, salads, and baklava just to mention a few) The staff is very courteous and its owner comes around and greets everyone personally which makes you feel at home. My friends and I can’t stay away now. We absolutely love it. This is the place to be. It’s for family and friends. Try it for yourself and you’ll be glad you did.
