For- get- it. Ever call a restaurant for 15 minutes and immediately get a message their voice mail box is full? Try again later?? well try to call Freddy’s for take out on a Sat night and thats what you get. Either they are too busy to be bothered or could care less about take out orders.
Really nice bar and good selection of beer, but the food is just ok. Stick to burgers. Staff isn’t the friendliest.
I counted 22 large screen tv’s. Can’t a bar open that’s not ramming sports down your throat? Not all drunks are sports fanatics.
Great Place!!!. I cant say enough good things about the food and staff. I am a regular here and noticed many positive changes to the menu. The new additions are great! The atmosphere is amazing, my husband and I cannot wait for football to start!! The staff is so friendly and inviting!! Its always a pleasure to make our way to Freddy’s!! Keep up the good work!!
Decent food about 15 beers on tap service is below par
Good Neighborhood Pub. My husband and I have visited Freddy’s twice in the past month. We moved in a few blocks away and were anxious to try something so close to home. The first visit was on a Sunday evening and as the bar was full, we sat at a small table in the bar. I was pleasantly thrilled to see a veggie burger (I’m a newbie vegan of under a year and yeah, I do go off the wagon here and there). My husband ordered the Cobb Salad. Everyone at the bar seemed very friendly. The hubs loved the salad! Said the chicken was incredibly fresh and tender. I noticed that it didn’t have any red onion in it and he agreed that while it would have been a nice addition, he really could find no fault with it. My veggie burger was better than average. It was of the Dr. Praeger’s variety-whole chunks of vegetables and not the way-too-much-cumin soy burger or fried rice burger I often find out. Next time I will ask them to grill the bun and cook the burger till crispy. I had the sweet potato fries and slaw as sides. Both were excellent. Our second visit was on Monday evening as we were thirsty for Shock Tops, but they were out. No big deal, there were other beers to our liking. Sat at the bar this time and again found everyone very pleasant. We really hadn’t planned on ordering food but everyone around us was having food brought out and quite frankly, the smells did us in and we ordered the bar pizza. Far from great pizza that Jersey is noted for (I just moved from Cincinnati where they just can’t do pizza) I must say it really hit the spot. It had the thinnest crust I ever saw and the sauce was flavorful and slightly sweet. A great appetizer. No complaints on the service either night. Friendly and efficient. We look forward to returning often!
