Too Americanized…. A bit expensive for what seems to be highly Americanized Chinese food. Some dishes were good, but most of them taste somewhat off, and not quite in a pleasant, fusion way. The only thing I enjoy here are the cocktails, so I’ll stop by the bar from time to time when I’m around the Freehold Mall.
My girlfriend LOVES this place so i try to take her anytime we have the chance. The food is pretty good, a little on the pricey side and the wait was a little long, but its worth the wait for someone who loves chinese food. It can be pretty crowded and loud, but originally I am from Maine so I am not used to seeing so many in one restaurant.
Small portions at a premium. If you really know good Chinese food this place may let you down. Some of the dishes are pretty good, but some are disappointing. What bothered us was the fact that the portions were skimpy, especially considering the prices. The decor is nice, and the servers are efficient. But it could get very crowded and noisy. Unfortunately, there aren’t any great Chinese restaurants in the Freehold area, so I guess PFChang will survive.
GREAT service. Went to PF Changs for lunch yesterday (Monday).. first of all everything was delicious. The lettuce wraps are soooo good. The best part though was our waiter. I wish I could remember his name but he was a tall thin guy with dark hair. Made great suggestions. He also realized me and my boyfriend liked our food on the hot side and took it upon himself to bring out different sauces he thought we would enjoy.. which of course we did. Brought home some leftovers as well and they were just as good the 2nd time!
Great Chinese food. Great atmosphere! Worth the always hour wait. Loved their version of General Tso’s Chicken. Not greasy and fatty like most Chinese restaurants. Very clean. Would highly recommend.
