The salmon was very good. The rice had enough salt, for my intake, for the week. Our server was very sweet, but very forgetful. We requested drinks three times and sour cream for the potato twice. The dinner roll never came, after offered. The bar tender was very nice when spoken to. However, he didn’t go out of his way to speak to you. The place itself if like a local dive. It’s a nice atmosphere, for a local joint. Fine to wear flip flops.
Dined in, but take out=zonk!. Had ok food (visited the crab room). service could have been better. would probably give them another try, saw some good things coming out of the kitchen… would just order something different (had lemon pepper scallops). only problem was… someone in our party had the crab bisque and RAVED about it. so a friend and i ordered some to go for later. well sadly, when we got home, it was POTATO SOUP in the containers and NOT crab bisque… BIG DIFFERENCE. going to take it back tomorrow to get what i ordered. 🙁 then, i’ll decide if i like it!
AMAZING. This is not your typical fried flounder and clam joint, a lot of the meals are prepared very well and a bit different than other local restaurants which I think scares off the locals a bit due to being used to the bland places in the area. though it can be a bit pricey the food is well worth it, one of my favorite dishes from here is the spicy yellowfin tuna served with shrimp and their garlic mashed potatoes. The portions are great, the food is always amazing and the atmosphere here is beautiful. One of the greatest features of the place is that you can pull up on your boat come in and eat and go right back to the bar afterwards. Overall I’d give the oyster creek inn a 9/10
I cannot believe there are people who like this place! You should all have to pay me back for this horrible tasteless food! Hmmmm $20-$30 entrees served on paper placemats & plastic checkered tablecloths?! The added bonus is the old nasty waitresses!
I don’t get it. Mediocre food at best and the rudest waitress I have yet come across.
