Arena Diner Hackensack – very good food/very good value. My husband and family have been going to this Diner for several years since we have moved to Hackensack, NJ. It is very convenient for us, with plenty of parking. I love it when the owners really go all out in decorating the restaurant – tasteful and with a sense of humor. It is a nice, clean place and not pretentious.The food that we have ordered, especially for breakfast, can’t be beat. I mean what more can you do with the variety of omelets they serve, as well with the delicious pancakes and Belgian waffles? Chicken parmagiana/spaghetti and their panini sandwiches- just hits the spot. Their Spanokopita or Spinach wedges are the best – well flavored with feta, etc. The egg cream which I love, could be consistent in taste. Sometimes overly sweet, or overly seltzered. Other times, OMG – just RIGHT!. They will fix it if needed to taste – no problem. Overall good value. It services a lot of people from nearby Hackensack Hospital. There are times, I purchase extra to take to work for lunch. It saddens me to read about rude conduct, but the owners and their wait staff had been good to us. I guess it all begins with attitude and/or prejudice which can beget attitude and/or prejudice. Don’t understand it. Nevertheless, Kudos Harry and staff for the delicious food. Thank you.. Overall, we will continue to patronize arena. Ooo-mm-pa-a-a-a! .

The Arena Diner is the place for a nice lunch with your family. You are most likely to be seated right away when you step in. The survice is good. The are very nice to you and always get your order right. The food is a delicacy to me and my family every time we go out. All summed up, I give the Arena Diner an A ++.
