Good food (but a bit too much $$). Hadn’t been back in a while but did the classic post Costco food run at Cubby’s. Have to admit food was good. Enjoyed the chicken, ribs and mashed potatoes. Cole slaw also rocking. Probably some of the best barbecue in the area.For context, full rack and chicken plate, with just one side, is $31.50!!! But the portion is huge. Literally two adults and one child shared it. So order one large plate, split it, and lower your average cost per person. (Good one to game their pricing model, which is to charge you big bucks for big portions).Better deal is half sandwich. It is massive, comes with cole slaw, and only $7.50. Another way to save some money.

So good the inmates wanna escape. Located across from Bergen County Jail, it’s the best Rib Joint in Jersey, no doubt, the chicken is also good, but get the Full Rack, that’s why you’re there

One Word… YUMM. Hands down bar-none the best ribs I have ever had! First of all they’re hot when you get them, which, in the world of ribs, is rare. Second they’re so tender they practically fall off the bone; hardly any fat just juicy meat. And yummy sauce… kind of tangy, kind of spicy. The other stuff is fab too pulled pork sandwiches, burgers, chicken platters. Oh and fantastic sides… sweet potato fries, mashed potatoes, garlic bread…. Plus the service is really fast and the place is spotless. If you want amazing bbq cubby’s is the only answer
