What a mediocre mel. I have eaten at Miyoshi over the years. It used to be great. Did it change hands? On arrival the waitress was putting makeup on for ten minutes.Tempura was formless, tasteless and colorless.Sushi was so – so.I was with my daughter ( a CIA graduate who currently cooks at Oceana, a three star seafood restaurant off Rockefeller Center). It was such a disappointment. Don’t go!
Family-owned and operated, Miyoshi is the sleeper pick for sushi. Taste and quality are unsurpassed in terms of both hot and cold options. Chef Yoshi makes the best sushi and rolls in the area. I’ve had the rest and this clearly comes out on top. Price, friendly service and top-notch food make this the obvious choice when you’re in need of Japanese food. Sushi fans, experts, and novices alike, don’t miss this Hackensack gem.
