The structure’s antique style does sets a fantastic ambiance. The beer selection is diverse enough for any palette. We state wit the Tavern Pretzels, fantastic. We had the Pepper Jack Chicken and the St Louis Ribs. The portion size of the Pepper Jack Chicken was almost overwhelming and it was fantastic. The Ribs were tender and flavored to perfection. We will absolutely be returning.

Are you kidding me? On Mothers Day?. Get this. Have you ever been asked to leave a restaurant when you complained about poor service and a plate of food you just could not see yourself eating? And then forced to pay for the meal uneaten? Welcome to Bill’s Olde Tavern. A true story… Ordered a medium done prime rib special on Mothers Day that came out blood dripping rare. After waiting for ten minutes to get the waiter to come back to see how things were going, I quietly approached the gentleman and let him know of my problem. His exact words were ‘please step away from me’. After asking for a manager/ owner, I was told there was no one but him to see about my problem. When I quietly raised issue, I was soon after asked to leave, immediately. But not before I was forced to pay for a meal I refused to take a bite of. After repeated conversations with a co-owner, he old me that he would settle up with me only only by dining at his place again. Now be honest, would you go back? So, I’m out $50 and upset enough to write my first online review. dan m
