Lost some customers….. We used to go to the China Buffet on a regular basis and never had any issues….must have been because we never came in at the brunch-dinner cutoff. Today 9 of us went to the restaurant for my husband’s birthday and was being seated literally at 3:02 ( I looked at my watch.) We we informed that it was dinner when being seated and asked if it was ok. I said no, because we do not eat the seafood or other dinner items. But given the fact we had 3 others meeting us there we couldn’t really leave. We said something to the manager on the way out and his only response was ‘we told you.’ I would not have had any problem paying for the higher price items on the buffet that 2 people in our party ate but come on, starting dinner prices at 3:00 is ridiculous. They got their $156 dollars for lunch–this time but none of us will EVER return. Obviously they are more interested in the immediate sale and could care less about retaining customers.
