visited the restaurant after a couple of beers and didn’t expect too much from the quaint little place. but i was mistaken as the line outside kept growing and inside there was this energy (guess it came from the cheese and large pizzas) which said otherwise and the size of the pizzas got me shocked. i must say the pizzas do look intimidating in terms of size but they melt in your mouth and are DELICIOUS beyond expectations…go with a huge appetite and i am sure you won’t be disappointed
Great Food, Friendly a Service. We had been to the old Delorenzo’s and went to this location hoping it would be as good as the original. We were not disappointed. We got the Ceasar Salad, a plain tomato pie and a garlic and sausage…all were delicious. Make sure you ask about all the different salads they have that aren’t on the menu. They have one with pecans and bleu cheese crumbles that is out of this world but wasn’t on the menu (we knew of it from the Robbinsville location). Our waiter Phillip was very accomadating and the staff where we paid told us the whole story of DeLorenzos. We will be going back soon.
User reviews. Pizza is Spectacular. Service is nice. Get in early, they sure pack ’em in!!!!
Objective review. Best in NJ or the USA? Perhaps, but they are not a clear choice. I have tasted as good in Linwood, NJ and in Peapack, NJ, not to mention Glastonbury, CT and San Francisco, CA. But they are quite good, delicious even. Problem is, that’s all they serve. For my money, I’ll take the family to a restaurant that offer’s choices with my delicious pizza (and a beer, for that matter – try Jo-Jo’s!)
I live in Bergen County, but had to travel to Trenton for business. It’s like an hour and 15 minutes away. I decided I wanted to try a tomato pie since De Lorenzo’s are supposed to be famous for it and I have to say that I’m in love with this pizza. I could have eaten the whole thing by myself. It had a good amount of sauce, a good amount of cheese and a great crust. It came out piping hot and was totally delicious. John our server, was extra nice too. He checked on us, made sure everything was right and even offered us directions to get back to the highway. I had the tomato pie with extra sauce, cheese and half of it with garlic. I wish this place was closer to me but that won’t stop me from going back because I think I’m addicted 🙂 it really is worth the trip!
Yummm. almost as good as pizza in naples.. Arrived for a late lunch, 1:30p – lunch is only served til 2. There were 2 available booths upon our arrival, but we were told to wait. When a small table opened up 10 mins. later, we were seated. The booths remained vacant for the duration of our lunch. All that aside, the pizza was incredibly good. We ordered a large sausage, basil, mushroom & artichoke pizza. All that could make this better would be a glass of beer, but there’s no alcohol served here.
Hands Down!. Best. Pizza. EVER!!!!! My family has been dining here for years, and when we’re at DeLorenzo’s they make us feel like family! I don’t get to eat there as frequently as I used to, becuase I live in Baltimore now, but no other pizza place can hold a candle to DeLo’s!
