I was in the area and thought of calling for a quick dinner! Well, I can honestly say that I will never go back!! AWFUL!! Fried calamari was chewy, and I opened the container to allow steam to escape. Vodka rigatoni was in more of a cream sauce and cheesy garlic bread was BURNT! Of course I was home when I discovered this. What kind of place allows something like this to leave their establishment? I should have taken it back and made the cook eat it. He would probably refuse!! Stay away – this restaurant isnt as good as it used to be!!

I’ll pass. We had a table of 9, the had a dinner special chicken/shrimp marsala, not even a hint of marsala in the dish, there were peppers and onions which hindered any flavor there was in the sauce. When I told the cook the dish was undesirable, he said good thank you and walked away. 5 of us at the table ordered the dish, 5 of us disliked it. Chicken Saltimbocca was overcooked. so brown it looked burned. glasses were filthy. the cook was filthy and looked like he worked in consturction, kind of gross when working with food. I would NOT go back again
Had pie this evening was delivered in a large box and the pie was made wrong so called to tell someone so they sent me another pie only to get a burnt bottom and was charged 18.00 I will not be ordering from there again any time soon
There is a pizza joint on every corner in Hamilton so competition is tough. I’ve tried many of them in the 8yrs or so that I’ve lived here. Tonight was my first time trying Mamma Rosa’s and I gave it a try based on the great reviews on YELP.Mamma Rosa’s is one of the best places in town to get a pizza AND THEY DELIVER!!! We ordered a large tomato pie with extra cheese tonight for delivery. It arrived in less than 45-min. It had a lot of cheese, which I like, err, make that LOVE, and was just a really good tasting pie.The dough was mushy for my taste, not crispy as I was expecting, so I ate the edge of the crust with all the cheese piled on that. The pie was room temp when it arrived. So, it defiantely could have been hotter and the dough crisper. That said, it was still a really good pie… the secret may be in the quality of the cheese and the sauce.We also ordered BBQ buffalo wings and fried calamari. The calamari was average. As for the wings, I could not bring myself to try them. They looked under cooked to me. I admit that I am fussy about my food.The delivery guy was nice.I will definately order from Mamma Rosa again.
