Poor service..good food. Went for dinner last Tuesday at 6 pm. Our table of six was right in the center of the dining room. Waitress took beverage orders and brought them. It was 40 min until she stopped by again. She seemed shocked that we had no bread..no salad. Hard to miss us….everyone, including our waitress was constantly walking by….we were right in the center. Other servers eventually delivered the bread, salad, entrees. After our meal, we waited. Had to ask another server to ask our waitress to bring the check. GREAT FOOD…..POOR SERVICE!
Greatest italian and seafood place in all of south jersey . It has been same quality for 30 yrs . The only negative i have is small drinks, pricey for size but everything else is a 10.
They are the best! My mother recently was diagnosed with celiac disease and this was her favorite restaurant. She was so bummed so we called to see if they could accommodate her in any way. Jose, the chef, is awesome. He makes the necessary concessions so she can enjoy her gluten free pasta and their other gluten free foods! I highly recommend both maple wood restaurants.
Great Food. Couldn’t believe it was closed. Can’t wait till it opens. Cousins special is to die for. Husband likes shrimp and broccoli. Salad is great (love the lady who serves it) bread yummy waitress’s terrific..see u soon
Cant wait for grand re-opening. Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer. The place was not busy and everyone had a relaxed attitude. The hostess let us sit at one of the three tables on the bar side so we could talk without yelling and watch the Phillies and Flyers games since the bartender was going back and forth between the two. Enjoyed a very good plate of stuffed flounder and Angel had the broiled seafood combo. We were told last night that they will be closing 4/8/13 for 6-7 weeks for a total makeover which in my opinion is much needed. cant wait to go back when reopened.11 Feb, 2013Pleasantly surprised. I have never had a really good experience at this Maplewood and tend to stick to the one in Hammonton but I have to say after a long day and not having energy to cook my angel and I stopped in on the way home for a bite.We skipped the apps and the salad and went right to the pasta. Angel ordered the pasta with clams in white and he finished every bite with plenty of juice left over and finished the bread sopping it up. I had the pasta with crab in red sauce. Fantastic!!! I had to stop myself from eating to be sure I had leftovers for lunch. Will give this place another try in the near future.
Delicious!. Maplewood II is a great restaurant and has food to die for! They have the best Italian dishes around with delicious bread and salad. Additionally, the old ladies that make up the waitstaff are pleasant and so precious! Definitely recommend to anyone.
Great italian food. I get the lump crab with pasta in their spicy fra diablo sauce. Atmosphere could be a little better.
