Lived in Chengdu, and Chongqing for a few years. As far as getting Sichuan Cai in America – these guys seriously hit the mark. Been looking for a places in LA / NYC that serve food that’s authentic, and I’m shocked to say this little place in Hamilton comes the closest. Pretty fantastic!
We came as a group of 5 for dinner. We were seated right away. The service was less than we hoped for. They seated us with three menus, we had to get menus. When they brought silverware it was not the correct number. When we placed our order the waiter went around the table and skipped my husband and started walking away, we had to call him back to take the test of the order. So the service was not so good. The food was pretty good, portions were large. The egg roll was tasty and almost a meal in it self it was so large. The beef with snow peas was good, tender beef and crisp veggies. The sesame chicken was ok. It was a bit dry I would have liked it to have more sauce.
