Great little spot. I’ve worked around the corner for years and it has always been my go-to sushi place in the area. The quality of the fish, quality of the pleasant owners there, and the fair prices make it delightful on your stomach, soul, and wallet.
What a gem!. It was such a treat to find such quality within the confines of a stripmall, hidden amongst a nail salon, tanning place, and a dry cleaners (who by the way, are the friendliest people). The shrimp tempura udon was so flavorful and delicious, the broth was anything but bland and the shrimp themselves were enormous. So many other places skimp on the shrimp and just overcompensate with copious amounts of batter. The noodles were just the right consistency and chewy. The rolls were beautifully presented and fresh with very, very generous size portions. The fish was chilled to perfection and bursting with fresh flavor. My dining companion ordered a bento and it was chock full of deliciousness.The quality of the sushi I received here is on par with some of the high end sushi I’ve gotten in NYC and Canada. I couldn’t find a single complaint with anything I ordered. Keep up the great work Kurumi!
