When I lived in highland park in 2003, I went here on my days off. Every time I visit Jersey, I have to stop and get a double Cali with cheese. It never disappoints. This time, it was even better than I remember. They stepped up their game even more! Still cheap, fast and amazing!

The SYSTEM!. How can you go wrong at The System? After a few drinks at the bar or even in the middle of the afternoon, there is something about the burgers that is just delicious and brings me back to my childhood growing up in Highland Park! Cheers to the System, still being fab after all these years 🙂
After the club grubbin spot. When you leave the bar if you have a taste for White Castle detour and head to White Rose. They still have the flavor White Castle gave up when they went to frozen patties. The fries and onion rings are all that. This is my all time favorite late night grubbin spot when I lived in the area. I am overdue for a visit.
See it to believe it. Came during the snowstorm and the place is still packed. Almost never empty. True classic definition of a fast food joint. Everything comes out fresh and hot. Very inexpensive as well.
