Applebee’s is always buzzing with all the games, beer, music and the indistinct chatter… We went to this particular outlet near our house in Hillsborough and it is just off the 206, very easy to locate, with ample parking spaces and fantastic interiors with a great ambience as always… We tried the Classic Appetizer combo which consisted of Boneless Wings, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, Chicken Quesadilla and Mozzarella Sticks… Personally I love the Spinach and Artichoke dip here and have more often that not ended up having this in Applebee’s no matter which location I visited… This particular classic combo is hugely filling for two people and we hardly had much space left for the entrees… Particularly more so because on this particular evening, they were running specials for Captain Morgan with Coke at just 2 bucks… So needless to say, we poured in a lot of those as well… We also tried a couple of cocktails which were decent but probably had more juices than alcohol… Anyways we had just about some space left to share and an entree and we went for the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp… This sizzler was neatly done and great in taste… I have tasted this before and it was just about the same… And we had a great waitress to take care of us as well… A great place to enjoy food and drinks with friends or loved ones… Highly recommended…
I was at this place last weekend. Chosen this place as it is open till long with expectation of good food and cocktail but I must say I was disappointed. There is no much options available for cocktails. I took one strawberry lemon margarita, which was decent. My husband took one other that tasted like medicine. Food was terrible. They just served the food right after we ordered, even Mc D take more time to deliver than this place. Onion rings were huge but no taste. Fiesta lime chicken seemed to be already cooked and just microwaved with no taste in it. Three Cheese Chicken Cavatappi was better than the other two but not up to the mark.First and last time at Applebee’s.
