Super Yummy and Very Friendly – I Highly Recommend. A hidden gem. What an adorable Jamaican cafe. My family loves this place! I’m not a very spicy food person, so I ask not to have the sauce put on it and it’s perfect! Everything is cooked there on the premises. I’m usually not a brown rice fan, but theirs is really delicious. If you get a chance, check it out. I usually get the jerk chicken, and my family also loves the jerk pork and the brown stew. Yummy.
Hidden Gem. Although a bit off the beaten path, this little Jamaican restaurant hideaway is a real gem. The owners were very friendly and welcoming to this very casual and modest family-run restaurant. My husband and I visited on a Saturday night and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We started off with garden salads followed by jerk chicken and chicken curry. Everything was very fresh and full of flavor. The service was good, and our entrees arrived piping hot with wonderful aromas. The food gave us the feel of having an authentic Jamaican home-cooked meal. Our two meals were very reasonably priced with a bill at $30. We left the restaurant feeling very satisfied and wanting to return. We hope others discover this restaurant, either for take-out or eat in or catering, and help it to be successful. We’d love to see it stick around.
