DO NOT GO!. We had brunch here several weeks ago and would starve to death before I would ever consider returning. The service wasn’t great, but it was the weekend and we weren’t in a rush so not a big deal. We ordered and everything seemed fine. When I ordered the eggs benedict I specifically asked that the yokes be well done. When the food arrived (it wasn’t quick and they weren’t that busy) I cut into my eggs and the yoke ran all over the place. I signaled for the server and explained to her that I asked for the yokes to be well done. She picked up the plate and scraped my potatoes onto my side plate and said they would be right out. Ok, not thrilled, but certainly not her fault. After waiting for close to 10 minutes the new eggs benedict arrives. Mind you, no potatoes which I hadn’t eaten yet, but once again it’s the weekend and isn’t worth saying anything. I cut into the eggs and it explodes all over me. The yoke is grey. Seems someone in the kitchen thought they were a comedian. At this point I no longer would tolerate this. I called the waitress over – told her what happened while literally wearing egg all over my shirt and told her that she could get her manger if she wanted, but we were leaving and I would not pay for anything (my partner received his meal which was fine) including the other entree, drinks etc (we had iced tea). She comes back within a couple of minutes while we are putting coats on and said that the manager said that was fine. No apology from management nothing. FYI – we did tip the waitress as I said earlier it wasn’t her fault, but to be treated like this from the kitchen and to complain and the mgmt does nothing????? What else happens in the kitchen I wonder??? DO NOT GO.
Pizza. I love the Margarita pizza here. Make reservations and dine upstairs beautiful when the weather is cold.
