Soupy naaaaa. For those that call their pizza soupy.. all you have to do is order it well done… an extra 5 min, crust a lil dark, but crunchy and amazing.. i love their pizza , as a person who has traveled all across for the greatest slice, their personal pizza is really really good.

Get the pizza. Ok, for starts, not a pizza person, but didn’t like th epizza here. Boyfriend loves it so I go with him, but the menu is tiny, nothing else on there really. I’ve tried the salad and the folded pizza thing, but no. I can tell it’s like good pizza, but just not my thing I guess. Everyone else seems to love it, just a warngin to my sistas who don’t like pizza.

Service over pizza. While the pizza was good, the service was better. We arrived at 10:00pm, near the kitchen’s closing time, and the staff never tried to rush us out of the restaurant. In fact, we didn’t even realize we were the only ones left in the restaurant and that they were all just hanging out, waiting for us to finish our meal. Needless to say, we left a large tip and went on our way with bellies full of delicious pizza. One other positive–you can order a single meatball in case you crave meatballs but don’t want a whole bowl full.

BAD Pizza!. My husband, sister-in-law and I went to Grimaldi’s only a week or so ago, and were very disappointed. The pizza base and crust was good, but the sauce was disgusting. I ordered a plain cheese pie (which comes out as a Mozzarella and Basil) and not only was the sauce cold, it was really runny and honestly tasted like cheap canned tomatoes. My sister-in-law’s Spaghetti and Meatballs had a similar sauce also, and just flavourless. My husband ordered a Pepperoni pie which again was bland and the pepperoni’s looked just like cheap Sausage. We came here after reading a New Jersey Magazine article, which rated Grimaldi’s as one of the Top 25 Pizza Places in NJ. Whether we are spoiled from eating anywhere else after getting fantasic pizza everytime from Pizza Suprema or we came here on a bad night – we won’t be coming back.

Really good pizza. Coal oven, great dough, fresh ingredients. Pizza meets healthy = match made in heaven

Much potential, poor execution. Coal brick oven+neopolitan style crust+overload of wet toppings=soupy pie. If I need a fork and knife for my pizza, take it back, roll it up, and call it a Stromboli.
