For the first time in 15 YEARS Grimaldi’s pizza had changed……. for the worse.The sauce was not chunky and the cheese was not fresh and white.This was my first bad experience in all that time. I called the restaurant the next day and asked if the place was sold or the recipe changed. They assured me nothing changed and the place wasn’t sold. I hope this was a one time event.
I had lunch today and was not disappointed at all. The menu is small, which is nice because restaurants often list a slew of items that are all mediocre instead of a few well done items. The plain pie is excellent, seasoned nicely, has a great tomato sauce and fresh mozzerella. It’s delicious. The service is good and the place is clean. I have no complaints. I will be going back for more pizza and trying more of the menu.
