Located in posch streets of Hoboken area , the outlet was recommended by my brother who studied at Stevens so it’s quite a hangout place for students .They have an amazing Ambience with good posters on the wall , staff are courteous here and welcoming.I really liked their falafels as it is different and doesn’t come in a wrap .
Have often been here and made my frienda by me food cause it was super delicious and wallet friendly. The shawarma rolls and even falafel in pita bread was always temping to dig in for. And if anyone has a sweet tooth then dont forget to try some of their sweets out as well. Cheers!
I have been eating here since past 9 years and the taste just remains the same … totally everyone should try this place and all the dishes they serve … being a vegetarian Mediterranean food always has many dishes to serve …. 1. Falafel Sandwhich 2. Falafel Balls3. Falafel Platter4. Chicken over rice (folks ordered and said it was great)5. Side Baba Ganoush with Pita6. Side Hummus with PitaOne will never get dissatisfied here …
Mamoun’s is a very well known place for Middle Eastern cuisine in the Hoboken area. Visited this place a couple of times in 2014 and found the restaurant bustling with activity – be prepared to wait for a while to order as well as to pick up your food (in spite of their quick service).Authentic falafels, shawarmas, hummus etc at reasonable prices with a no nonsense ambiance make this place a must visit for folks after a few drinks at the numerous bars around.
I have lost count of how many times I have gone to this place! I have had falafel and Schwarma many, many times and I’m never disappointed. Oh and how can I forget Hummus & Pita? I can have it forever! Many times you will find yourself standing in queue during peak hours but I must commend the quick service. My all time favorite place for kebabs falafels and super yum Baklava I have been here so many times that I have lost count. I love their food totally. Authentic Baba Ghanoush! Hummus and pita oh not to forget their red hot super spicy sauce. I eat a lot of spicy food. So it’s good for me. Others please be careful. A drop of sauce is good enough if you ain’t the big fan of spicy food
Uncooked meat. Served me an uncooked piece of meat in my shawarma. When I brought it to the manager he told me if they cooked it more the outside would be too done. How about cutting your meat into smaller pieces then! Also, they did not offer another shawarma to replace it.
