this place never disappoints. 2 of us ordered a large hot n sour soup for $3.25 which was enough for 4 people! pad thai noodles were so large in quantity – and every bit delicious. for $14, we had a wholesome meal. not to forget the byob policy here!
Same Owners as Precious in Riverdale, NJ?. Riverdale, NJ Location: The food used to be better; fresh and more abundant vegetables and tastier in general. It used to be the best Chinese food around but not anymore…too bad because the owners are very nice. Unsure if this is run/owned by the same owners as the Hoboken restaurant.
Good Food but they treat you like dirt!. Unfortunately, Precious is the best Chinese in Hoboken and they know it. Every time I go in here I want to knock one of the staff out for being rude. Your best bet here is delivery.
Best in Hoboken. I’m not sure what some of these other folks ate here, but my family has been here probably 100 times and it’s by far our favorite Chinese restaurant in Hoboken. Consistently excellent food, good service, etc. Even their Japanese dishes are great.
I only tried this place once, but that’s all it took to know that I’ll never try it again. The crab rangoons were way too buttery and greasy. The sesame chicken was obnoxiously sweet (almost like it was dipped in sugar). The final straw was the chicken wings. There were still multiple feathers stuck to each wing! I’m not talking about a stray feather here or there, I’m talking about multiple full-size feathers on every wing!! It was disgusting! The only good things I ordered were the sauteed vegetables. Overall, a terrible experience!
The crab rangoons were terrible and nothing like normal ragoons. It was dry with a potato like filling, almost no crab meat, which was already that processed fake stuff. Wouldn’t go there again…..
You know how everyone has their go-to Chinese place, this is mine. From the giant cichlid in the fish tank, guarding the door, to the sock-you-in-the-gut pork chow fun, this place ain’t messing around.
