My wife and I have a custom of trying a new, nice restaurant for anniversary celebraations. Often we have to look at a distance from home, since we have been doing this for 30 years. This year was the middle of a work week, so we looked closer to home. Bobby's is only two miles from our house, and turned out to be a gem of a find! It is the latest incarnation of a bar/restaurant in the same small building. If more people catch on to how great this place is, it will be the success it deserves to be. The fairly standard Italian menu is very well prepared, and served with pride, care and efficiency - often by Bobby himself. What made this a true standout, other than the pleasant, casual, intimacy; was the surprising size of the portions and the very reasonable pricing. It isn't often that I leave a restaurant completely full, but the portions here left me completely satisfied.
